Estimates are not quotes

Everything on this site is a planning estimate produced from published pricing data and general assumptions. It is not a quote, an offer, or a professional opinion, and it cannot account for your roof's actual condition, your local market, or site-specific constraints. Always obtain written quotes from licensed contractors before commissioning work.

No professional relationship

Using this site does not create a contractor, engineering, or advisory relationship. Structural questions, including load capacity for heavy roofing materials, snow load design and framing adequacy, must be assessed by a qualified structural engineer.

Accuracy

We work hard to keep our data accurate and we document our sources, but material prices and labor rates move constantly and regional variation is large. We make no warranty that any figure is current or correct for your situation, and we are not liable for decisions made in reliance on it.

Acceptable use

You may use our calculators freely for personal and commercial estimating. You may quote our content with attribution and a link. You may not scrape the site at volume, republish our dataset wholesale, or present our figures as your own original research.
